We are head over heels in love with this party! When searching for spring themed parties we came across many, but this one stands out! It is difficult to find spring themed items that do not revolve around Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, or sunshine.
Becky from Event Crush designed this gorgeous Spring Flower First Birthday for her very own daughter and let just say, we’re thoroughly impressed. The colors and theme are timeless and just perfect for her little munchkin! She chose lavender, purple, and aqua since those matched her daughter’s nursery and added pops of pink to make everything a little more girly.
Guests enjoyed various adorable and delicious foods:
Flower and butterfly shaped mini pb&j sandwiches on a stick which were a big hit!
Flower shaped sugar cookies with purple icing and vanilla cupcakes with a delicious homemade vanilla buttercream frosting.
Cupcakes with edible butterflies on each baked in flower shaped bake cups
Rainbow fruit skewers
Veggies and dip
Deviled eggs
I personally fell in love with all the centerpieces. She used purple and blue polka dot metal watering cans and buckets that she purchased from Michael’s Crafts. They were filled with spring flowers such as white carnations, lavender roses, mini pink carnations, and baby’s breath from Chase Flowers & Gifts. A purple or blue vase with some more blooms accompanied the watering can as well as a couple of framed photos of the birthday girl from throughout the year. For a “guest book,” guests signed foam butterflies with messages for the birthday girl which make an awesome keep sake.
Another favorite were the party favors made from soup cans. With a little spray paint (lavender and blue), these soup cans were transformed into fun pots with flowers from Fred Meyer! Super cute and easy favor that guests can enjoy all spring. For the kiddos, I found little plush flowers that I thought were adorable and went along perfectly with our flower theme. There was also a photo booth with fun props to make a fun scrap book later.
The adorable smash cake was from Alison with Heavenly Delights Cakery. Love the rose icing with pink and purple and it looks like the birthday girl did too!
Thank you so much Event Crush for letting us feature your wonderful party. So cute!
