Our sweet chocolate popsicles are just perfect for a princess party!! They are easy to make and are decorated with pretty sprinkles that sparkle because every princess loves sparkle! Follow the simple steps and tips below so you can make your own fun party treats or favors.
We used one of our new chocolate candy molds that has 3 different shapes of popsicles. You use traditional wooden popsicle sticks with the mold making them even more fun! With some chocolate melts and a variety of pretty pink and purple sprinkles you will have some pretty party treats in no time!
What you will need:
Wooden popsicle sticks
For decorating and packaging:
Step 1: Melt chocolate per package instructions. We used white chocolate but you can use dark or milk depending on your princesses’ taste. Merkens chocolate was selected as it has a nice favor and is not waxy. Once the chocolate is melted, spoon or pour into the cavity of the mold and add the wooden popsicle sticks. Make sure to add a little more chocolate to cover the top of the pop stick that rests into the cavity of the mold so it secures the stick to the chocolate as it sets up as these make larger size pops.
Step 2: Once the chocolate is set you can easily pop them out of the mold then decide on how you want to decorate them. Now the real fun begins! They look nice plain but become oh so pretty when you add some sprinkle detail! We used fine sanding sugar on a couple of them as it adds a pretty glittery sparkle. To add sprinkles melt more chocolate and either dunk the corner of the pop in the melted chocolate at an angle and shake off any access and quickly sprinkle on your sprinkles of choice or you can drizzle some chocolate across the pop and sprinkle on the sanding sugars, non pareils or jimmie sprinkles. Place on a sheet of parchment or wax paper and allow to set up.
Once you pops are set you can add a cute bakers twine bow with a little glue to the pop stick handle for extra decoration. Use them in a pretty party display, package up in little treat bags for favors or you could even use them as a cake topper! How cute would that be?! Tip: If you need to make many of them we recommend purchasing a couple of the popsicle candy molds or you will have to make them in batches. It’s been a popular mold so we’ve stocked up! If you prefer a different shape stop by our shop as we have a wide of candy and treat molds.
We hope you enjoy our pretty princess party chocolate popsicles!
