Marshmallow Paintbrushes
Don’t you love when themes pull together perfectly? We featured a creative party theme by Elizabeth at Lemonberry Moon. She knocked our socks off with the details that went into the Construction Themed Birthday Party and we’re grateful to have the honor to showcase it for our followers. The most amazing part of the whole party were the marshmallow paintbrushes she created!
Take a look at these:
I mean, how creative can one be?! We’re lucky enough to get the details on how to make these totally edible party treats. Please follow the recipe below and watch as everyone marvels at the unique and tasty paintbrushes!
Supplies:
Popsicle Sticks
Candy Melts
Marshmallows (you can buy flat ones now at most stores!)
Directions:
1) Melt candy melts according to package directions. (Generally in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring in-between. Do not overheat.)
2) Place a popsicle stick in each marshmallow
3) Dip marshmallow half to 3/4 of the way into the melted candy. Let excess drip off and lay on parchment paper to dry.
Display these in plastic paint buckets found at the craft store. Fill the buckets with chocolate candies, such as black sixlets, and topped it off with a construction themed buffet label from Forever Your Prints, available here.
I plan on doing this, but with rice crispies instead! Thank you so much for the post!
