DIY Floral Drink Stirrers

Not much is more fun than enjoying a cocktail with friends!  And now we have a simple DIY that will add a bit of floral chicness to your next aperitif!

Supplies:

Flowers

Wooden Skewers

Thread

Scissors

Hot Glue Gun

 

Directions:

1. Begin by taking your chosen flower and cut from stem, leaving just the tip of the bud.

Next, take the pointed end of your skewer and gently push it into the bud of your flower.

Using your hot glue gun, place a small drop of glue on the wooden skewer right below where it meets the bud of your flower. Carefully take the end of your thread, place it in the glue and begin wrapping it around your skewer.

Continue wrapping your thread until you have covered the desired amount of your skewer.

Simply trim your thread and place another small dot of hot glue on your skewer to attach.  You should now have a finished floral drink stirrer!

All that is left to do is create your favorite cocktail and add your fabulous floral accent!
