This camping party is our number one pin on Pinterest! Styled and photographed by Lemonberry Moon, you know this party had some of the best ideas out there!
This is a great Summer party that can be done in your back yard or, like we did here, at a local campsite (or three!) We went a little overboard here, but the kids didn’t mind at all. But this doesn’t have to be a Summer thing, set up a tent in the living room and make it the coolest sleepover ever!
Cheetos made safe and tasty “campfire flames.” S’more cupcakes were topped with pieces of chocolate, mini marshmallows and mini graham crackers.
Katie’s creative Baking did another incredible job with the cookies for this theme! “Lake water” was provided to wash all that deliciousness down. You can find the granola bar recipe here.
Lunch was a sandwich and apple served wrapped in bandannas with canteens of water, the kids LOVED this! The cool factor was so high they actually ATE lunch even after they had been stuffing their tiny faces with all the treats!
Favors included taking home their activities and my personal favorite, the “Don’t feed the bears” plush toys! So cute! Activities included a scavenger hunt (download the FREE scavenger hunt), painting birdhouses, making wooden disc name tag necklaces, s’more making and the “take a hike trail mix bar.” For the trail mix bar we provided pretzels, marshmallows, teddy grahams, dried fruit, chocolate chips, gummy bears and M&Ms. Not the healthiest trail mix, but definitely the most popular activity! The birthday boy’s mix included only M&Ms!
